Pain under the right side of belly button

Hi everyone

I've Been having discomfort in my tummy below the belly button on the right side and groin area

Now for a few years I've been back and forth to the gp I've had the camrea into my bowels which are all clear

The gp has given me ibs medication  not working

The pain is a dull ache and gives me back aches I can't sleep a full night has it seems much worse on a night. It's there all the time I'm taking pain killers just a small relief but not long

If I sit for 2 long and then stand up it feels like a older person till I get moving and idea what this could be

Thanks

  • Hi Katmicky

The best person to answer your question is your GP, your symptoms havent got better then its time to go back to see them. Your symptoms could be down to a number of things; gallstones, kidney stones, ovarian cyst etc. so I wouldn't jump to thoughts of cancer. Call your GP and put an appointment on - all the best x

  • Hi just wanna asked how long you have your tummy pain? I have my right tummy pain for more than a year but doctors doesn't seem concern about it.

  • Hi it started a couple of years

    They said it's hip pain

    Then a hernia

    Then Ibs

But to be honset it's the right side when when laid flat it seems to be in the groin and tummy

I have bloating and back ache with it I'm 48 years old thought this is the start of the menopause

But over the last few weeks the aches and pain is always there  xxx taking pain killers all the time and some night it's that bad if I wake up on my back my hubby needs to help me sit up

Made appointment to go see the gp again

  • Sounds like yours come and goes, my pain is there every single day in the last 1 year and 3 months. I've been back to my GP today since my pain was really bad last night, he requested series of blood tests again and poo test. I just want this to be ruled out it's so upsetting and frustrating.

All the best to you hope We'll be sorted out soon. Xx

  • Hello, can I ask how you are now and have you been diagnosed with anything, I have the exact symptoms. Thank you.
