hey every so i was diagnosed with the cancerous HPV virus 

i get screened every year 

 

and every year i go through the same state of fear.

so many people around me has veen diagnosed with cancer which has added to my fear . 

im so scared :( and i just dont know ehat to do i keep getting told not to worry . i keep getting told everything is going to be okay but i just cant help the way i feel. 

someone please help me i feel so alone right now and in stuggling with 2 young children i just worry for them . 

 

just keep getting told im over reacting :(

    Hi Nutty,

    So you have the high risk HPV that may cause cancer, if I am understanding you right. I am not a doctor and can't give you medical advice, but if you are getting checked every year, that is good! If anything develops, they will find it and you can get it taken care of, right? Try to relax, keep your appointments and maybe have the doctor explain your diagnosis better so you don't have to worry so much.

    i spoke to my gp recently and they said they cant help me because they dont know enough about . i think im more scared of the unknow xx and yeah i can get taken care off but it still worries me .

    my doctors are useless LOL they are just rubbish
