Hi

i went for a biopsy of the lining of the womb 12 days ago. Yesterday I got a call to say I was being sent for an mri, but the lady on the phone could only say it was to complete their investigations and the consultant would see me in January. I got a call this morning to make an mri appointment for Tuesday. All I can find online is that they would do this after a biopsy to determine what grade a cancer is and if it has spread. Has anyone had anything similar? I'm driving myself crazy with worry. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read how you're feeling and this is of course perfectly understandable when there is this uncertainty.

    Often they will do a number of tests before giving you information so as to get a complete picture first.

    I see that your appointment is tomorrow so I just wanted to wish you all the best for it and do make sure you ask any questions you have.
