Just curious if anyone's had a repeat papilloma in the same spot?
Just over a year ago a lump was confirmed as a papilloma. It was only 5mm, I had a couple of biopsies due to inconclusive results. The second biopsy was vaccum assisted and removed what was left.
So 6 weeks ago I found a lump there again. I waited for a menstrual cycle, as recommended, it's was still there. So a trip to to GP happeneed and I'm at the breast clinic Friday. Is it normal for them to grow back in the same place? I've been relaxed until now, having been through the lump thing before, but now my appointment is booked I'm over thinking again.
They left a marker in after the second biopsy, so they be able to tell for sure if it's the same point - certainly feels like it. I'm also now feeling occasional waves a slight pains in that breast, which I don't remember last time. Then I'm rationalising that's a good sign? BC is typically painless? So perhaps it's a cyst this time, which I've read can be painful? My mind is doing strange things, moving between rational and irrational thought (such are what if the second biopsy results missed something last time?). I'm glad Christmas is here as a distraction!
So anyway, just wondering how many have had lumps reappear in the same place please? If so, what was the outcome?
Thank you.
