Hello and welcome to our friendly forum.  I know you are worried but your age is on your side and lots of people diagnosed with lung cancer have no symptoms at all and actually feel OK.  My husband who has lung cancer had no shoulder pain, or other symptoms just a niggly cough and it was because of this cough they did x rays and a CT scan which then confirmed his cancer.  So it's normal to wait 6 weeks again because an infection can clear up in that time and a further x Ray will show whether it's cleared up.  The folic acid can be bought over the counter so start taking a well man vitamin that contains these ingredients because lack of folic acid can cause aches and pains because muscles are working harder.  I bought these from a chemist and many sell three boxes for the price of two, it takes about four weeks to have an effect so persevere.  I hope this puts your mind at rest, just stay positive because worrying is draining and makes you ill as well.  Good luck for the future.  Carol

Hi carol my follow up X-ray came back normal no further action thanks for your reassuring words, the doctor has referred me to a neurologist as they think it could be ms causing my symptoms due to tremor ect. I'm not so sure. I'm hoping it's just stress as I have read stress and low bit d can cause a range of symptoms
