I'm 23, have one child, and have been having "symptoms" of my cervix since 17/18 years old. That was foul discharge, abnormal bleeding etc. I've had a lot of sexual partners too. So fast forward to past 6 months I've been getting "periods" that are three weeks long and lots of brown discharge, pain. I saw a nurse who brushed the symptoms aside and said it's fine, it's thrush etc I'm 23 so to young for a smear. (I'm in the UK) However I saw a doctor this week she said my cervix looked very red and inflamed and she was concerned especially how long I've had these symptoms, and referred me for a colposcopy. Im also getting stomach type pains and also period pains. I'm so worried I have cervical cancer and just posting if anyone been in the same boat and it turns out fine?x
