Nerve damage

Hi I’m 46 and I have just been told that I may have a nerve sheath tumour in my left leg. This has come about from having really bad drop foot and total numbness in my leg and foot. I’m just wondering if anyone can help me with this as it was not explained to me great.

I have been transferred to a hospital in London.
