Lump over voice box !

Hi everyone. 
 

ABout 8 weeks ago after loosing weight intentionally I notice a swelling over my voice box area, since this time I've also had a continuous sore throat, hoarse voice and persistent cough. 
 

Thyroid tests were normal, my go has today referred me to ENT as 2ww. I'm so scared , I'm 36 with 3 children and due to get married in August. 
 

The lump is slightly sore to the touch and feels firm. 
 

im going out of my mind right now with worry.

    Hi, 

    I too have just found a lump in my neck.  I don't know anything about neck lumps and was hoping to get some replies to my post, though it is a recent post so I guess there's time.

    I'm not sure what to offer you by way of advice or support but I am right there with you in understanding the tremendous amount of fear you are feeling right now.

    I'm 53, my kids are grown up but they're never adults, in a mother's eyes and I don't want to leave them behind until I am old and grey with wrinkly tights and rollers.....
