Hi
I'm new here.
I found a lump to the left side of my neck 6 months ago. It has progressively slowly grown.
I went to the doctors and had a full blood count. Everything was fine, white cells, red cells, the only thing that was out was my thyroid, which is standard for me.
I persisted with the doctor that something wasn't right (she put that down to health anxiety, which I suppose half of it is) but they sent me for an ultrasound anyway, The lump was my lymph node, which the results say it's "normal".
Still swollen, and I've been in so much discomfort and pain with it so I went back to see if I could have physio.
Now they're fast tracking me for a biopsy on my lymph node. And I've only just noticed how fatigued I am. I know night sweats are a symptom, and I do get them, but I put that down to the doctor increasing my thyroxine recently.
I'm very emotional at the moment and would like information on processes going forward etc.
