3 lumps on leg

I am a 28 year old male that has had pain throughout my muscles for the last 6 months about 3 weeks ag a hard lump developed on the outside of my left thigh above under the skin. I went to the doctors about this she spoke to me for a minute or so and said it was probably a lipoma. Since then I have developed a second hard lump on the other leg on the calf and one on the left knee. These lumps formed within a few days of each other and are not realy painful but occasionally are to touch. I have been referred to an ultrasound now on my request but I have to wait 2 weeks for the referral people to then call me and try to book an appointment. I had a diagnosis of sarcoids last year that was a little scary as they was not sure if it was that or lymphoma to start with. I'm just struggling now it's like it's never ending and I want to get to the bottom of these new lumps and ongoing pain.

I also have a hard painless lump on my wrist and a soft one on my other hand.

  • I'm sorry about the lumps on your leg Rhys but I'm glad your doctor has listened to your concerns and has referred you for further tests.

I can see from your other post that you have a GP appointment this afternoon so I just wanted to wish you good luck and hope you get the answers and reassurance you're seeking at this time.

It's always tough waiting for tests but you are not alone and hopefully you'll hear back from some of our members who have been in a similar situation soon.

    Kind regards,

  • Thanks for the support and words. Been to the go today they have fastracked me to an ultrasound due to the nature of the lumps all feeling different and one not feeling so smooth with a lump on top of it. Just waiting on an appointment for it.
