My partner has had a sore throat and a very dry cough,for about 4 or  5 weeks now. She wakes up every night with a sustained bout of coughing. There is a history of some form of throat cancer in her family,losing a brother to it only a few months ago. I don't know if we're both reading to much into this,but if only for my own piece of mind,could someone please tell us IF their symptoms began the same way,OR is it that it could be tonsillitis,as was diagnosed by her G.P and she's just really struggling to shake it?
