Awaiting biopsy results

Hi I found a lump in my right breast only 2.5cm yesterday I went for mammogram then ultrasound, consultant took a biopsy when I was called back in I was told the lump is sinister and I am due for MRI. I have arm ache so I'm freaking out it's bad. My grandmother had breast cancer, my mum had a lump removed and also myself when I was 12 due to stress.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this health concern recently. It's understandable that you're feeling worried. 

    We've quite a number of members here who will be able to empathise and understand what you're going through. If you use the search function in the blue bar at the top of the page I'm sure you'll be able to find lots of posts to where you can chat to other ladies who have been in your position.

    Hopefully once you've had the MRI you won't have to wait too long for your next appointment and the Consultant will be able to answer your questions and discuss the next steps with you. If you'd like to talk to one of our nurses in the meantime you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). I'm sure they will be able to help with some support and advice.
