Hi Beth123s, there are lots of urgent referrals now as it's the NHS guidelines, my friend had one for bowel problems and like you heard nothing back, so she rang the hospital and the secretary said that anyone with a suspect scan went to the top of the pile and she was at the bottom, she heard 8 weeks later, all clear.  My husband has cancer and after his scan we were contacted within a couple of days.  So if you're worried then call the hospital and ask how long you are expected to wait.
