Hello,

I've had a persistent cough for almost three months and noticed a lump in the left side of my neck in October. I saw my GP who prescribed antibiotics for the cough, but didn't seem too concerned about the lump. The antibiotics were ineffective and as the lump was still present a month later.

I also have neck pain and it's sore around my chest and ribs. I returned to the GP and he sent me for blood tests. Yesterday, I got the results and there is an abnormality with my Full Blood Count as my neutrophils are abnormally high. I'm incredibly worried about this and haven't been able to speak to my GP, just the receptionist who said that the doctor asks that I repeat the blood tests in a month. However, I'm too anxious to wait that long to repeat the same tests and potentially get the same results. 
 

I'm not really sure what response I'm hoping for really but just wanted to write it down as I haven't told anybody.
