Hi
This is my first time posting. I had my gallbladder removed in October (acute-on chronic cholesystis)and thought everything had gone well. I got a letter saying I needed a scan because the pathology showed changes but this was nothing to worry about. The consultant booked me a ct scan. On Monday I got a taxi delivered appointment for the next day. The area they were checking liver, the and pancreas showed no issues. The the but came. There are concerns in other areas - a growth in a kidney and a problem with an ovary. I now have ct scans and Mri scan booked this coming week. it's strange to say, it's both good and worrying that everything is going so fast. I have had phone calls and booked into earlier appointments, that makes me think this is not going to be good news. My manager at work has been fantastic and supportive. The big consolation is that this has been spotted, if I hadn't had scan after GB surgery I could have walking around not knowing as I have no symptoms. I'm on an emotional rollercoaster I just need to know what the problems are and how bad. Just wanted to offload.
