Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.

Recently my gran went to the doctors for a routine check up, blood test etc. They called back to say that she needed to go in for an urgent appointment because her blood tests were abnormal regarding liver function. They sent her for x rays of her liver / stomach a few days later, we are still waiting for the results.

A doctor came round today to take some more bloods and has said that she is being referred to a cancer specialist in the next two weeks. I'm really concerned that it is liver cancer however she states she has none of the symptoms which are associated with it, so I'm not sure if it's being detected early or it's something else.

I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar, apologies for rambling I'm just really concerned at the moment and this situation has really come at a bad time.
