I have had a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck for 4 weeks now. I haven’t been ill for ages, the odd cough or sneeze but not a full cold.
The lump is not completely solid but fairly hard. It moves around when pressed on but is completely painless. It’s probably approximately the size of a pea, maybe slightly larger.
I’ve also been having a lot of pains in and around my neck, shoulder and collarbone although the lump itself is painless. Some fairly sharp pains, sometimes more of an aching.
It all feels a bit surreal but I am very concerned about the possibility of lymphoma.
I have a huge, huge phobia of doctors so have been putting off going but am going to make an appointment tomorrow. I am terrified. Has anyone had a similar experience they could share? Or any thoughts at all really.
