Hi all. I'm just wondering how long my hubby might have to wait for an urgent colonoscopy? He was admitted to hospital on Monday for a blood transfusion as his haemoglobin levels were really low. After this he has an endoscopy but nothing was found. He has now been discharged and is waiting for a colonoscopy. He has been bleeding after having a bowel motion for a few years now but because it was bright red blood the GP told him not to worry and that it was just piles. We are keeping our fingers crossed that is all it wil be but it's hard not to think the worst.
