Hi there, this is my last resort really as I have no idea what to do next!
I found a lump a little less than a year ago. I thought nothing of it as I'm young and was told it was likely to be nothing by family and friends. Months went by and I couldn't stop thinking about it and the lump seemed to be growing. I started experiencing sore breasts and nipples, pains and lumpiness in my left collar bone (the side of the lump) and a strange ache in my left arm (dull ache, like after cramp). I went to the doctors in August 2019, we referred to a breast clinic and told to wait, after waiting a month I rang and was told I was on a year long wait list. I returned to the docs in Nov 2019, examined again and told they'd try to move me up the list, I rang the breast clinic to be told I'm on year long wait list still. I have a family history of breast cancer (all of my grandmothers first cousins have been diagnosed) and have been on the pill for 5 years which increases my risk.
More than anything I just want some advice, what are my rights in the situation and am I entitled to appeal this wait, surely there's no way I can be expected to wait a year!
Sorry for the long post I'm just losing my mind!!
