Pelvic Mass

I have been told I have a Pelvic mass (near the ovaries) and its quite big.  They originally thought it was an abcess but now they are not too sure as its not behaving like one and have no markers as infection etc.  I will find out in the next few days what it is.  Have had all the scans going and blood tests.  Awaiting results of MRI scan. 

 

I am worried that this could be cancerous and I have left it too late to be seen.  I know I am jumping to conclusions.  And if it is cancerous I just have to come to terms with it and trust the doctors and nurses.

    I know exactly how you’re feeling I thought I had swollen glands in my groin and found out yesterday at a go appointment it’s actualy a large mass attached to my hip bone and extending into my pelvis so awaiting a scan and biopsy.

    I do have raised infection markers but I’ve had them for two years without reason so don’t know if I ca take them into account or not!

    Have they said when you will get your results?

    They said it should have been yesterday I had my results but now its a few days.  I had an infection (Sepsis) about three weeks ago and another infection two weeks ago but now I am clear of infection now.....So a bit confused.  I am sure it will be soon.
