My mum had a colonoscopy on Monday which diagnosed rectal cancer. Biopsy taken, mri and ct scan done earlier but still awaiting consultant follow up to know what we are dealing with and this wait is killing. Her symptoms still persist visiting toileting often but not emptying properly, passing gas and still having bloods in stool and gas and this makes me worry is it getting worse. Can the follow up just be faster. Has anyone been in this situation.
