i am 63 wirh rheumatoid and osteo arhthritis

recent blood tests show I am anaemic of a level of about 11  i have always been borderline anaemic as was my mum all her life  GP,is sending me for irgent twl week referral  the thoight of camers up rear wnd and down throat scares the life out of me  he did say though you can swallow a cpsule with camera which may be better for,me 

he said its unusual for older people to have low,iron so there must be a bleed somewhere  my mum died of cancer aged 68 so I am petrified
