Swollen lymph nodes

Hi I went to the doctors about 3 month ago with pain in my right breast I got checked over and given the all clear....3 month later iam still feeling the same sort of ache but it's going up and in to my armpit...and its swollen up...I went to the doctors today iam she said she could feel a little lump and is getting an emergency referral for a mammogram....its going to feel like a life time waiting for this appointment....has it happened to anyone...iam going out of my mind

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear about your worries at the moment. There will be many people on here who have experienced something similar. The waiting is never easy.

    It's easier said than done but the best thing is often to try to keep busy and distracted and to carry on as normally as possible until the appointment.
