Can't believe it. I have been a frequent poster on here since Mum died of Ovarian Cancer 3 and a half months ago and now I am having my own 'scare'. Went to the doctors today thinking I had IBS as it runs in the family and flares up because of stress but the more questions the doctor asked me, the more I realised I was describing the symptoms of OC. One of the things that scares me most is a pain in the lower right side of my tummy.
The doctor ordered blood tests for me for next Thursday and also a jelly ultrasound, which I am waiting for a phone call about. Has anyone else been through something similar? I don't know how long I'll be waiting before I get contacted about the ultrasound. This is all happening too soon after losing mum.
