Hi i am a 56 year old woman who hasnt had a period for nearly 8 years, recently though nearly every time i go for a bowl movement i bleed from my vigina, should i be woried about this?
Any unexplained bleeding should be investigated, so if I were you I’d make an appointment with the gp, and when making the appointment make sure you tell them it’s post menopausal bleeding rather than just “bleeding”.Hopefully it’s nothing serious but you should get an appointment as soon as you can. Hi, my PMB symptoms kicked off a referral, so don't worry if this happens as it's just the system to get to the specialists more quickly to check it out. I didn't make an appointment immediately, but I too was told all PMBs are now be checked to make sure all OK and should really have made an appointment sooner. Hope all goes well x
