I've literally just posted a thread with a similar experience I'm going through right now, trying to find out what I can expect from the Gynae appointment. 

Went for an ultrasound yday and they found a semi-solid mass in my left ovary and have been fast tracked too. My appointment is Tuesday. 

I haven't been told any details of what the appointment will cover, what they'll do, how long I'll be there..... 

I’m sorry to hear that you are being fast tracked too, it’s not good is it? I’m trying not to think about it, but how can you not? Good luck lovely xxx

I will do - the receptionist said it was a 60 minute appointment, so I’m assuming theyll do bloods and such - I’ll let you know so hopefully you’ll have an idea of what to expect too ️ Xxx

I just wanted to stop by with some information about the two week referral. 

It is normal to worry when you are urgently referred to see a specialist by your GP. However, 9 in every 10 people (90%) referred this way will not be diagnosed with cancer

How did your appointment go?

I'm booked in for surgery on the 9th. The fast track appointment was incredibly reassuring and after another scan, the gynaecologist is fairly certain that I have a benign dermoid in my left ovary. The ovary is starting to twist and it is obviously being a pain, so the dermoid is coming out next week. The dermoid will be sent off to the lab after just to check, but my ca125 levels came back at 15, so well below the level to worry about  and all seems positive at the moment.
