Just read all posts and hope all get good news. I am waiting for news too. I have an appointment at the breast clinic on Monday. I'm so scared to be honest ....

This week has been the longest ever and being at work has helped a great deal. When I'm alone my mind goes into over drive and I panic.   I went to my GP because of pain in my armpit and shoulder and breast pain. Found a small lump and referred me last Friday.

It's horrible this waiting, work is definitely a distraction. My lumps are lymph nodes, I have very lumpy boobs so don't know if they are cysts or normal for me. Hopefully we'll all be ok. Try and keep busy.

Yes all the descriptions say cysts are usually like that don't they although maybe it being stuck to the chest wall is what's made them think otherwise?

Have you got lots to occupy you while you wait for the 4th to come round? Xx

I have also had pain in my shoulder since earlier in the year which was only when I breathed in deeply such as to yawn, cough etc. I went to the doctors and he put down to muscular then a few days later I ended up really struggling to breathe, in hospital and diagnosed with pleurisy. The pain did ease compared to what it was then but it's never really gone away. I then ended up with a really bad lung infection in both my lungs  and have never felt so ill. My chest and breathing are much better but this pain won't stop and some time around then was when I found the lump in my right breast. 

Have they said much about the pain you're getting?

I have lumpy boobs too, it's hard to know isn't it and I always used to check standing up but spotted my lump lying in the bath which makes me wonder if it's been there longer.

Aww thank you .. it's the waiting that's hard but only couple days now.

Sorry to hear about your lung infections I can imagine incredibly painful ...hope your on mend now.

My GP asked what pain was like .. but didn't say too much to be honest.  The pain in my armpit isn't too bad now and the breast pain comes and go.  I'm hoping it relates to a cyst as I keep hearing pain is cyst related.

I am on the mend from the lung infections thank you.

I've been getting breast pain over the last few days, mainly in the one with the lump, it's like a dull ache and painful throb that's coming and going. How's your pain been?
