My MIL told me yesterday how badly bloated she is. She looked really uncomfortable too. I remember about 3 months ago she told me the same thing and was complaining of pain in both sides just beneath her ribs.

Yesterday she told me she has been to the doctor numerous times and only last week have that even bothered to examine her. Instead, previously they have given her antibiotics for a water infection (without even doing a urine test) and tablets for indigestion.

She also told me she keeps needing to go for a wee, she is tired, she feels full and still has the pain. The only unusual thing is, she also feels hungry all the time.

She had a very early breast cancer 18 months ago which was non aggressive and was all taken out with surgery. Her mum also has breast cancer. She is also a life long smoker, and 60 years old. How for the life of me her GP has not taken these symptoms more seriously for the last few months I do not know. Surely these are all red flags?

She has had some blood tests at the doctors last week, when I pushed her for more info she said she thinks one is for her ovaries so I'm assuming they have done a CA125 count. She is waiting for results back. She hasn't had any calls from her doctor as of yet. 

Totally disgusted with her GP practice to be honest and very worried.
