7cm Ovarian Cyst

Hi, recently.. in the last 8 weeks. I've been diagnosed with a large cyst on my right ovary. I've had a scan. Been fast tracked onto an urgent cancer referral. Seen a gynaecologist and had a cancer screening blood test and MRI. 
my question is, with the cyst, I've been getting a lot of pain in my hip, back, buttock and all down my right leg , which has suddenly got worse. Could this be connected to the cyst or possibly sciatica?

    I have just had a 6.5cm cyst removed and hoping my hip and back pain might reduce,  early days as still getting over op but will give it a few more weeks and see.

    ...I had a 19cm tumour removed from my pelvis/right ovary (5 weeks ago) and the relief I have felt post-surgery is incredible. I'm aware that my posture had also badly affected/increased my back pain -but with careful work and exercise I can report that it's no longer causing pain (back to enjoying walks although I'm not quite ready to do 5K runs yet lol).  We're all individuals and our bodies respond very differently to different triggers.  Hope you're more comfortable soon :)

    I've had a couple of days without any paracetamol, although I have pains from the op I have noticed my lower back/tailbone area pain hasn't returned, which was making it hard to get comfortable in bed before.  Hopeful it will stay away!
