Good afternoon,
I've been having numerous tests since August that include, blood , CT scan and biopsy. I was told last week that I have a tumor in a muscle in my neck and have been referred to Macmillan. The results from the blood test and CT scan came back as normal and I'm not sure what other tests will happen going forward. Surely the biopsy would have shown whether the tumor is benign or malignant?
My concern is that I've been referred to Macmillan rather quickly (within a week) and my GP said that this usually means bad news (not in those words). I've had to cancel my appointment this week as it landed on my brother's wedding and I'm just so stressed with worry to wait for another week. Does anyone have any advice for me please?
Many thanks in advance,
Paul
