MDT MEETING

Can anybody please tell me if they have received a letter following a colposcopy which says..

"unfortunately, although the sample has not shown any evidence of a pre cancerous change, the lab reported the specimen inadequate for proper histological assessment of the cervical transformation zone,  given you were referred as fast track and you have previous history of CGIN  i would like to take your case for MDT meeting".
I have been fast tracked due to a VE showing swollen cervix and small  nabothian cyst.  I had  high grade CGIN back in 2007 and had my last yearly smear last October. That came back clear.  Can anybody tell me what this means please.

  • Hi Linziwill1

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some ongoing health concerns at the moment.
Unfortunately we're not able to say why it is that you've received this letter. It would be worth calling your GP or the Consultant at the hospital for more information and to ask when you may hear back regarding the MDT meeting.
I'm sorry that we're not able to help further.
    Best wishes,
