Breast lump biopsy.....waiting for results

Hi, very new to this and I have been reading many posts on this site....2 weeks ago I found a lump, I live in Scotland so was referred urgently to breast clinic, I am 41 years old. I wasnt worried at all about the lump, actually felt like I was wasting the gp's time but I knew it was important to get checked out.

Attended one stop breast clinic yesterday, had mammogram, ultrasound and 9 core biopsies taken! Consultant found 3 other lumps that needed investigation....biopsies were not painful at all but I found the whole emotional side very draining. Consultant told me that she thinks all the lumps are benign, however one might be a papilloma and will need removed, unsure why it needs removed, I didnt ask....other lumps she thinks are fibroadenoma's.

Now have to wait 2 weeks for the results, feeling positive because of Consultants reaction, she didn't seem worried. Fingers crossed! Does anyone know why a papilloma would need removed?
