im in the same situation, saw GP yesterday due to pain in left breast, armpit and shoulder. She found a lump and referred me as urgent.

I didn't go to work today as too upset and worried didn't want to cry at work .. I got a call and my appt is a week on Monday.... 

I'm terrified so I completely understand your worry too.

Got my appointment through and not until 28th November. Will feel like a life time! Hope your keeping well until next week, I'm just trying to stay super busy to distract my mind x

Hi I'm glad you have a set date, albeit a little more of a wait. I hope you can manage to distract yourself in the meantime and do keep in touch if it's a bit much. 

My antibiotics have made zero difference so far (after 3.5 days). I'm due another ultrasound and biopsy Friday morning. Since there's nothing serious showing from the ultrasound/mammogram last week, I feel more relaxed. Yet, as the lump/areola is unchanged I'm frustrated as I just want to know what's causing it. The quicker I/we have answers the better ey?! I just don't want things hanging over me at Christmas.

Now I know where the word 'scanxiety' comes from!

My appointment is also on the 26th November. I've had swollen lymph nodes for a month. Blood came back clear and have quite lumpy breasts. Really must keep busy to keep our minds occupied.

Thanks. My GP took standard bloods Monday (iron, thyroid etc) called yesterday evening for me to return for more. I'm told I probably need to go to haematology? I'm unsure why. All I know is that my body is exhausted and I just want to go to bed! Could barely manage school run today. Actually too tired to worry!

Hi did you get your appointment through? If so, I hope all went well I'm trying to focus on Christmas too. I go for biopsy results on December 3rd. So next week I'll go crazy shopping, baking and pickling!
