I have had irregular bleeding and pain that feels similar to bad period pain consistently for months. I have also recently started having pain in both hips (on the inside) which radiates down my thighs (front and back). The doctor thought it could be pelvic inflammatory disease and it was very sore on one side when he had a feel of my insides but it since transpires that it is not that. I feel constantly exhausted too. I'm awaiting a transvaginal ultrasound but have not had any blood tests. Could this be ovarian cancer? Should I have pushed for blood tests as part of the investigations my doctor performed? I am 28 years old so I know it is less likely but it doesn't mean that cancer is impossible
