I can imagine this is a very stressful time for you and your husband at the moment and I am sorry to hear that they have found a node on his lung during the test and that they have also found something on his thigh. I hope that the MRI scan next week will shed some light on all this. Your friend does sound like an incredible person and I hope that her story and positivity will help you get through this. It is normal to feel in complete shock at the moment and I am sure your husband appreciates having you by his side during this anxious time when you are waiting to find out more. 

You can offload here as much as you want - it does help to share your thoughts here with others who understand only too well what you are going through and dealing with at the moment. 

Hopefully someone who has been in a similar situation will be along soon to share their story with you.
