I'm really worried things are worse than first thought i had my coloscopy last Friday the gynecologist said he was certain that the mass he found on my cervix was cancerous and took urgent biopsies ,I was also told there would be a meeting with all envolved today i never heard anything about attending the appointment and haven't heard the outcome of my biopsies or the meeting.outcome

    Good Morning Tullulah1. 

    Im sorry to read that you have a cancerous mass on your cervix. In regards to the meeting you mention, this will be a MDT meeting (multi professional meeting) that is attended by doctors, oncologists, radiologists, basically anyone who will be involved in your future care. They will discuss your case and agree an action plan for treatment once the biopsies confirm what type of cancer you have.  You would not have been invited to this meeting, but will be told of the outcome at your next appointment.

    Good morning millie52,my biopsie results have come back and there is no cancer the gynecologist jumped the gun I'm having lletz procedure next Friday to remove the abnormal cells i can't tell you what a relief it is I've had one of the worst weeks of my life but I'm extremely lucky iam so grateful for the support I've had on here in what was a uncertain time x
