Hi Sarah on my appointment for biopsy results they comfimed the diagnosis of breast cancer the type of which mine was invasive ductal carsanoma and a stage 2 and a rough idea of the size they know more after the lumpectomy results I get mine next Monday then they'll give me a further treatment plan that works best for the type and stage they also discuss surgery with you and what's best for you and explain everything  and they are able to tell you the receptor status mine was ER positive Her2 negative I hope this information helps I know how you feel with anxiety it's horrible especially with the waiting for results but it does settle down it's your mind & body going through the normal motion after having such a shock.
