So no one in my family really have any concerns so I thought I'd post onto here and get other people's opinions.

I found a rather huge lump in my neck (kind of just appeared out of no where) my neck swelled up on one side and then I discovered the lump. I booked into the doctors who have referred me to ENT. 

I had the camera up my nose, which was a weird feeling but with no pain! He confirmed that I had a lump in my thyroid gland. He has now told me I need to go for an ultrasound on my neck and maybe a biopsy too.

Just wondering if anyone has been through this and what their outcome was and if i should be worried or not I am only in my 20's? Any responses would be appreciated.
