A bit of reassurance needed

Hi all

Any reassurance on this one appreciated please.

I've been unwell for around 6 weeks now (night sweats, very run down) various blood tests through docs iron low, CRP slightly raised.

last week they sent me to hospital as were seriously concerned I had lymphoma. I have 2 large lumps in my neck and one in my shoulder. I was sent for an emergency CT scan and chest X-ray. Chest X-ray clear and lumps were showing on CT but thought they weren't cancerous. One other blood showed something on my cell scraping or smearing?? Was in a bit of a daze.

They have scheduled an appointment with the haematologist within the next 2 weeks and said he might do a biopsy.

Im a bit confused by this as they said from CT was fairly confident wasn't cancer. I am generally quite laid back but this is worrying me a little so any reassurance more thank welcome please.x

  • Hi there ..

Don't over panic, they are just doing everything to get the whole picture so nothing's missed .. they do these tests far more now so nothing is missed and back up what they think .. so just feel o.k in the knowledge your being well looked after ...

Sending you a vertual hug... Chrissie xx
