I have been referred for an ultrasound as I have endometriosis symptoms. Over the last two months I have 2 lumps in pubic area that won't go and now it's hurting when I have s*x. I'm so worried all these symptoms are in fact cancerous. I'm a wife and have 3 young boys and don't know what I should do next.

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your ultrasound. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting for these tests and important results. 

    I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    Hi there

    I'm sorry to hear about this. The best thing to do is try not to worry yourself too much and avoid googling symptoms etc online. I'm a stage 4 endometriosis sufferer have been for many years. I'm undergoing treatment and now have a suspected giant cell tumour in my hand. Please try not to worry and stress yourself take each day as it comes. Deal with one thing at a time. My thoughts are with you.
