Its always worrying when something isnt right, glad you're going to see your GP so they can examine you and refer to breast clinic if it needs to be looked at by specialists. There are all sorts of breast conditions that can produce a 'lump' so try not to jump to conclusions. Hope your daughter has a fab birthday and do come back and let us know what the GP says x

Breast pain and symptoms such as breast ache and lumps cause a lot of anxiety, although it is actually very common to experience this in women of all ages. Most breast issues have a straight forward medical explanation. 

There are different types of breast pain due to a number of reasons, like hormonal changes during your monthly period cycle, normal breast changes(your breasts change throughout your life) and benign (not cancer) conditions, such as fibroadenomas. You might want to read more about this here,

But we would always suggest that you get it checked out by your GP. They will be able to examine you and hopefully advise you further.

Hi, 

I saw a doctor today, she found a lump, she said it was quite deep andpea size and she wasn’t too worried. But she has referred me to the breast clinic for more checks. I think an ultrasound or a mammogram. Thanks for your support when I was panicking x
