Cervical Results

I guess I should be relieved that my results are back, but I'm not! Although it's come back as low grade changes and I have been discharged.
nothinv has been mentioned about stopping the bleeding that I get every time after sex? They. Now this has been going on for over two years.
Any ideas on where to go now, I'm waiting to call my doctor to speak with them

  • I'm glad your results came back o.k Lilly although I'm sorry that the issue of your bleeding still hasn't been resolved.

Going back to the doctor is the best course of action so I hope you managed to speak with them and get an appointment booked in.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in similar positions will be along to share their advice and experiences with you soon as well.

    Kind regards,

  • Oh my goodness I have exactly this too.  I am so sorry you find yourself in this situation - it's terribly worrying and distressing. I went to my GP early July with symptoms as I had just been putting up with it all for months (years actually come to think of it) and after having scans, biopsies, endless trips to hospital to rule out cancer and I finally got my letter that I don't have gynaecological cancer but on my scan it showed "bulge high on cervix" meaning not the part the nurse sees when she scrapes for a smear but higher up inside the womb almost? so I get pelvic pain and discomfort/pain/bleeding every time I have sex so haven't had it for bloody years and it's upsetting and frustrating for both my partner and me. I really hope you get to the bottom of what is wrong with you.  In fact, I am going to make another appointment with my GP now as heard nothing back from the Hospital :-( please stay in touch and let us know how you get on x

  • Good evening!

    thank you for your message.

I have a phone appointment with my doctor this Thursday on where to go next, and I'm going to make it clear that I got lower back ache (they know this but put it down to something inside my spine not the disc problems) but who's saying it is. And the discharge I get (I can smell it, others not) I thought was BV again test show not. But I teach a lot of fitness classes so I feel it ooze out (sorry gross haha) and it can fill a panty liner. That's not normal, maybe I'll ask if I can have a scan. Or see what they recommend.

what test did the hospital do for you?

For my bleeding they said "it could be" post Colital bleeding. Sadly I don't want could, I'd like it sorted as like you sex life safly isn't as wild as I'd like lol x
