Hi,

Moles can be OK and yet disappear but it's not common. Unfortunately moles can also not be OK and regress - this then causes a problem if someone develops symptoms of metastasized (secondary) melanoma as the primary (mole) can no longer be found. Has it left behind any mark on the skin? I would go back to your GP and push for a referral to dermatology so that the area can be examined.

Hopefully it's a normal mole that's disappeared but it's worth getting it checked. Please let us know how you get on.
