Need some hope???

Hello everyone, after six months plus of symptoms like nausea in the mornings, constant indegestion ,exhaustion, depression and anxiety, irregular bleeding , spots on my neck, sore breasts and just not feeling 'right' eventually my doctor sent me for an ultrasound. All be it the wrong area on the scan documents, I insisted they do my lower pelvic to which the sonographer found something measuring 4.8cm. Later on that day I recieved a telephone call to go into my doctors- and they have put me on an urgent cancer referral with my gyno appointment in four days time. I've had a cyst drained last year during a lap, so hopefully it could maybe be this returning. Allthough my worries are they have missed something sinister the first time . I have lost almost all faith in the system , for months I feel I've been fobbed off as being a hypochondriac and they have failed to link all my symptoms together and now it's "oh perhaps you have cancer ".... I have done the GP's job myself figuring it out. I'm so scared of leaving my two small children of 3 and 5 and can't stop crying

  • Oh flower, I’m in a very similar situation, waiting for my urgent cancer referral..... for they think cancer of throat, mouth etc....... I just feel numb!!!  I send you all my love, crossed fingers, hoping it’s another cyst and nothing else.  I have a 23 year old daughter and a 29 year old step son and my hubby, and I to am only scared for them mainly!!!! But having wee kiddies must be very very hard emotionally, due you have a partner? Or family or friends who you can chat too? I live a long way away from my dad, brother and sisters, 560 miles and that’s sooooo hard cause I miss their cuddles and unconditional love........ but back to you flower, if you ever need to chat, scream or shout, I will always be here for you.  We are at the begin of our potential cancer journeys BUT we can think positively and hope is always their for us both, that it’s something simple that can be fixed quickly x
