Hi, I'm just sitting here absolutely terrified. My gut just feels like it's about to explode any moment soon from what me and my mum heard from our doctor today.
Alright, so basically my mum had these two twin moles near her right nostril ever since I can remember. They were always medium in size but last week one has started bleeding and my mum said it's getting bigger and painful now. We went to see our gp today and he reffered her to a hospital for a cancer diagnosis. When I herd that I was petrified. I know I may be overreacting but the doctor didn't say it was nothing or anything he just referred her to the hospital. She now has to wait for a letter about two weeks but that's too long. She doesn't seem too worried about it but I ever since we went to that doctor I'm sitting worried sick... Did anyone here experience something similar with moles? Could it be just nothing? She says she might've just scratched it with a towl and that's why it bled and has grown but just when I heard the word 'cancer' from the doctor, I felt shock. No one in my family has ever had cancer, at least none of my closer relatives. I just hope that letter comes soon so she goes to that hospital and they can confirm that's it's nothing.
