I rang them today, a letter had been sent out on the 18th! But I've still yet to receive this. Hospital was pretty vague and just said low grade so decided to call my doctor who went through everything with me. 
the aspiration biopsy was all clear, phew! 
the 3 cervical ones showed all low grade changes and the virus HPV, they are saying no treatment needed and to have my next smear in a year.

however as the coloscopy only checks for infections and cancer I've had to be asked again now to have the bleeding looked at. This has been diagnosed as the cervical ectropion so now waiting to be referred to the gyneocologist who I hope will treat this for me! 
 

certainly feel a lot better that I spoke to my doctor re the results! Xx

Hello bridgedidge sorry for the late reply thank you for your kind words it's not good that we have to go thorough these things ,however it's comforting to share with people who understand it's goods news we both had good c125 results and hopefully we can take a tad of hope from this, my appointment is on friday 1st Novembe colposcopy i hope all goes well on Monday for you for:) xx

I slept so much better!! And yes, I will now push for this to be dealt with and not wait the two years like I have already done so.

I know this is an old post but I am hoping from what I have put together from your posts that you may have had similar to what I am experiencing.

I saw my gp due to brown discharge mid cycle. I had swabs and a smear and she said that she could see some ectropion. The gp phoned yesterday to say the smear revealed HPV and some abnormal cells so I would be getting a letter to go for coloscopy (sp). I dont have the letter yet so I am freaking out that this means I must have cancer.

Am I right in thinking you had a similar experience but did not have cancer?

All I keep thinking is this all must be linked and so it can only be cervical cancer. I am going out of my mind and can't sleep or anything.

I'm having similar symptoms, I bleed slightly after intercourse, for about 24 hours, and had the most horrendous stomach cramps, I'm waiting to call the gp as it's bank holiday I've not slept I'm going out my mind with worry x

I have been having bleeding after intercourse for over a year now since I had a leep procedure Jan 19 and was treated for cervical erosion in Oct 19 but the bleeding is still there. Its ruining my sex life as I don't ever want to do it with my partner because if I see the blood I freak out and then convince myself more that there is something wrong x 

I'm exactly the same, I have put off doing it also as I'm scared I will see blood and worry so much to the point I won't sleep or eat!  I'm surprised they've not done a coloscopy (I think that's how you spell it) I'm so scared as this has never happened before, I do suffer with fibroids but doubt that they can cause the bleeding

I spoke to my nurse and she said she was gonna refer me to coloscopy again but the GP would need to order a scan, as the coloscopy only looks at the cervix and she wants to check that everything above that is normal. Like ovaries and that. I have had an internal scan down there 2 and a half years ago and all was clear but she said things can change from then so that's made me worried. I had a smear 6 months after my leep and it was clear and HPV negative. But I'm worried there is something going on further up. Coloscopy appointment is booked for 6th November as that's the earliest they have! I'm still waiting for scan letter and I also have to do stool sample and bloods. I suffer with dirreoah alot, sorry for tmi, I've had this for over 2 years. I am extremely gassy most days, get alot of heartburn, mild pelvic pain thats always there, symtoms of cystitis for over a year. Its really worrying me and all I can think about, and the fact that I'm spotting after intercourse is freaking me out more. I dont know if cervical erosion can come back? But its like it never went away then after the silver nitrate was put on it. As the 1st time I had sex after having that done there was so much blood like I had come on my period. Although its not been like that since just more of a spotting its still there and it worries me, I never had this problem before having the leep procedure, how long have you had this for ? Xx
