Hi,

I went for a smear test 3 weeks ago and the nurse seen a poylp. I have experienced a change in my period these past view months.  The gp checked and said I would be referred on to gyny to get it removed and sent for a biopsy. The nurse told me to ring in 3 weeks for my results. I rang the results line today and the receptionist said my results where there but the gp needed to check them. Is that normal procedure for all smear results? In a panic incase something is wrong.
