We know that waiting for tests and then for results can be a really difficult time. Unfortunately we're not able to say how long Mum might be waiting for her results. many things can impact on how long it might take. For example if Mum's results need to be discussed at a multi disciplinary team meeting then this can mean waiting a little longer. 

If you're able to then it may be worth giving the Consultant's secretary a call perhaps around the middle of next week and see if they are able to find out when Mum will be recalled to clinic. 

Either way try not to read too much into how long Mum does, or doesn't wait for her appointment.
