CIN2 what to do?

Hi there, I had a biopsy taken and it has come back CIN2, I have been given two options, remove the cells with treatment or monitor again in 6 months. The doctor said she likely removed the CIN2 cells or they could progress back to normal.
I ideally want to wait 6 months and have another smear and col but my mind keeps running away worrying if left in 6 months can develope to cancer. Has anyone been in the same boat? I am 28 and have had two children

  • Thanks for your reply.

I have had a look on the forum thanks, I'm just so torn. She said it's likely she may have removed the CIN2 with the punch biopsy or it may regress back to normal on its own. I would prefer to wait as I know it can effect further pregnancies, I just wanted to know that in 6 months it wouldn't spread to cancer? The doctor said it wouldn't as it's a slow progressing cancer and the worst what will happen is it will stay CiN2 it won't go any worse? Not sure what to believe as you hear horror stories and I'm a worrier.

    thanks for your reply
