Had enlarged occipital lymph node on the right side of my neck for the past 4 to 5 week. 

Had a neck injury for a month from going to the gym, noticed the lump when massaging the area, neck pain has now gone but lump still there. 

Went to doctors who carried out an examination said hes not too concerned at the minute as no red flags ie lost weight, night sweats etc. I have felt like rubbish for a good few week with headaches but he didnt seen to bothered about that. 

He said come back in 4 week if no change or increase in size. But I cant believe he hasnt requested bloods etc as a precaution. Worried 39 year old male 

Am I being a silly ?
